THE RESULT WAS THAT THE BONES OF THE DESIGN IS INTACT, BUT SOME DETAILS CLASH WITH MY INTENSIONS. I HAVE A DIFFERENT VIEWPOINT. ALL THIS CAN BE CHANGED WITH COSMETIC CHANGES THAT ARE NOT EXTENSIVE THAT I COULD ASSIST THE NEW OWNERS WITH IF DESIRED.

Aestheticaly. The beauty is not in the architecture but in the surounding environment, which i agree is a stupendous view. The glazed infill between suds of course is a very functional straight-forward solution. IMO not your best.

thanks for your comments. i was beginning to wonder if i had any readers.
in your opinion. it is not my best, i would agree with that, but as an addition to this particular home it created a dynamic solution.
every project is different that i have done, with specific needs. therefore the projects vary. people have their preferences, that is normal.
the house and site combined make a fantastic steal. a significant value. it is inspirational and uplifting.
nothing but praise from those that have experienced the home up close.

Glen, I know the aesthetic of the infilled glass; transparency and visual connectionn to views of nature. The studs, promenent in the photos, would ‘dissapear’ and not be perceived as one looks outwards.
One the other hand, the regularity of the studs, and the unbroken vertical repetition detracts. I would of broken up regularity with, as example, maybe thin muntions or mullions? at the top to introduce a counter or complimentary rythmn, to also introduce another degree of scale. But I know ehere you are coming from on this. Sometime I overdo design, get fussy.
